Gear units or gearmotors
A gear unit is the gearbox on its own, and you connect your own motor to it. A gearmotor combines the motor and the gearbox in one unit. We supply both, from small gearmotors for light conveyors to large industrial gear units for heavy-duty drives.
Gearbox types we supply
Helical gear units
Parallel input and output shafts. Used for conveyors, mixers and general machine drives.
Bevel-helical gear units
The output shaft sits at a right angle to the input. Used where the drive has to turn a corner, or where space along the shaft line is limited.
Planetary gear units
Input and output shafts sit on the same axis. They carry high torque in a compact housing and are common in heavy-duty drives.
Worm gearmotors
Compact right-angle drives for smaller loads, such as light conveyors and positioning drives.

Gearbox spare parts
A worn bearing or a leaking seal rarely means the whole gearbox has to go. We supply spare parts for gearboxes already in service, including bearings, seals, shafts and complete gear sets. Send the nameplate photo and, if you have it, the part number from the manufacturer's spare parts list.

Replacements and alternatives
You can order the same unit again, or ask us for an alternative. A newer series or another manufacturer may offer a gearbox with the same performance at a lower price or with a shorter lead time. If your model is no longer produced, we find a current replacement.
Send the nameplate photo along with the mounting position and shaft dimensions. A different unit can have another footprint or shaft height, so we check the fit before we quote.

- Input power and speed, plus the required output speed or ratio
- Output torque, if known
- Mounting position and shaft arrangement
- Operating conditions: hours per day, shock loads, ambient temperature
- ATEX zone, if the drive runs in a hazardous area
- Quantity and delivery country

Where we deliver
We ship from Germany to customers across Europe and the Middle East, including Oman, the UAE and Iraq. For deliveries outside the EU we handle the export documents.
