We are the data controller for personal data collected through this website.

2. What data we collect and why

When you use the contact or enquiry form on our website, we collect:

  • Your name and company name
  • Your email address and phone number
  • Your country
  • The technical details and files you provide in your enquiry

We collect this data solely to respond to your enquiry, prepare a technical-commercial proposal, and follow up where needed. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR - processing necessary for pre-contractual steps at your request.

If you create an account on our website, we additionally store your login credentials (email and encrypted password) and your saved enquiry history. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR.

3. How we handle your data

Enquiry and account data submitted through this website is processed and stored securely using our internal systems. We do not sell your data. We do not share it with third parties for marketing purposes.

4. How long we keep your data

Enquiry data is kept for as long as is necessary for the business relationship and in line with German commercial retention requirements (up to 10 years for business correspondence under HGB §257).

Account data is kept until you delete your account or request deletion.

5. Cookies and tracking

This website does not currently use analytics cookies, advertising pixels, or tracking scripts. If this changes, this policy will be updated and a cookie consent mechanism will be added.

6. International data transfers

GIPCO Germany GmbH supplies clients across Europe and the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. Where personal data is submitted by clients outside the EU or EEA, we handle it with the same level of care and security described in this policy. Processing takes place within Germany.

7. Your rights under GDPR

If you are in the EU or EEA, you have the right to:

  • Correct inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your data
  • Object to or restrict processing
  • Request a copy of your data in a portable format
  • Lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority - in Germany, this is the relevant state authority for NRW: LDI NRW (ldi.nrw.de)

8. Data security

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data. Account passwords are encrypted and never stored in plain text. Access to stored data is restricted to authorised personnel only.
